What is the Truth Score?

The Truth Score is a personal 0 to 100 rating that says how well a food product fits YOU. Not the average person, you. We use the goal you picked, the diet you follow, and the things you avoid. Two friends scan the same protein bar and get different scores because the same food fits two people differently.

How does barcode scanning work?

Tap the scan button and point your phone camera at any food product barcode. PeakAI looks up the product in trusted food databases, then calculates your personal Truth Score based on your goal and preferences. If a product is not in the database, you can submit it through the app to help everyone.

Is PeakAI medical advice?

No. PeakAI is a nutrition information tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, especially before changing your diet or starting a new supplement.

What data do you collect?

Your account email, the diet and goal preferences you set, your food logs, and anonymous product analytics. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Full details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

One tap. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, pick PeakAI, tap Cancel. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile, tap Payments and subscriptions, tap PeakAI, tap Cancel. We never see your card. We do not make you talk to anyone.

I scanned a product but it was not found.

Our database covers millions of products, but a few are missing. Tap the missing product flow inside the scan screen and submit it. Submissions are reviewed and added so the next person who scans the same product sees real data.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Delete account, or email support@peakai.app from your account email. We process the deletion within 90 days, and we tell you when it is done.

I cannot sign in. What now?

If you used Apple or Google to sign in the first time, use the same one again. If you used email, tap Forgot Password and we send you a reset link. If the email never arrives, check spam, then write us at support@peakai.app.

How does snap and say work?

Open the camera. Point at your meal, your bar, your bowl, your bottle. Say what it is, or just say one serving. JARVIS figures out the food, pulls the calories and macros, and writes it to your food log. You can edit it after. If JARVIS cannot tell what the food is, it says so and you log it the old way.

How are supplements handled?

Scan a supplement barcode or take a photo of the label. PeakAI cross checks the label against the National Institutes of Health Dietary Supplement Label Database, shows the additive layers, and flags mega doses for a closer look. We do not give medical advice. If you take medication or have a condition, talk to a healthcare professional before starting a new supplement.

How do allergies and diet preferences work?

Set them once during onboarding, or anytime in Settings. The Truth Score is calculated against your full profile. If a product has a flagged ingredient, you see a warning. Add a new allergy or diet at any time and your scores update going forward.

Does it work without internet?

Mostly yes. Scanning works on cached products even when you are offline. Items you have scanned before stay in your history for offline reading. JARVIS voice and the menu scan need a connection because they call our backend.

Does the family yearly plan share with my family?

Yes on iPhone. Set up Apple Family Sharing once in the App Store, and the yearly plan covers your family members on their phones at no extra cost. Android family sharing varies by region, check the Play Store settings.

I changed phones. How do I restore my subscription?

Sign into PeakAI using the same Apple ID or Google account you signed up with. Open Settings, tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription comes back. If it does not, write us with the email tied to your account and we will fix it.

App requirements

iPhone and iPad: iOS 16 or later. Apple Health integration available on iOS 16 and up.

Android: Android 9 (Pie) or later. Health Connect features available on Android 14 and up.

Internet: Required for JARVIS voice, menu scan, and the first sync of new products. Most of the app works offline once you have used it for a day.

Troubleshooting

If something feels off, try these in order.

  1. Force quit and reopen the app. Most one-time glitches clear here.
  2. Sign out and sign back in. This refreshes your session.
  3. Check your internet connection. JARVIS needs a working connection.
  4. Update to the latest version in the App Store or Play Store.
  5. Reinstall the app. Your data lives in your account, not on the device.
  6. Still stuck? Email support@peakai.app with your phone model, OS version, and a short note about what happened.
